We had our ultrasound yesterday and it's a girl! We are so excited! I will finally have some pink in my house. So we need your help. We are debating over 2 names and can't come to a conclusion. We each of our own opinion and can't agree. The 2 names we are thinking are Kailyn and Aleena (call her Ali). I will not tell you which name we each prefer to keep the game fair.
We have had a fun couple of weeks. First my parents came to visit and we were able to do a bunch of things. We went to a pumpkin patch and the kids were in heaven. It was a huge farm that had hayrides, trainrides, a bunch of games, goats to feed, on 80 foot slide, yummy funnel cakes and fried oreos! We had the best time. I was really sad to see them leave. The only thing that made it okay was the fact that we were going to a beach house the same day they left. A bunch of friends from the ward got together and rented a beach house in Emerald Isle. It was the perfect weather! It was in the low 80's the entire time we were there. We were able to play in the ocean and go swimming. We had so much fun with our friends and had no desire to come home and back to reality! If you ever get a chance to go to a beach house DO NOT PASS IT UP!!!! It was the best vacation ever!
Spence started his ER service again. Back to reality and long shifts. He is doing really well. We are so proud of him and all the hard work he does. We are going to Utah in 2 weeks. We are so exited to see our family again. It has been 11 months since we have seen most of you! We miss you all are are so anxious to be back!

I know which name you guys are leaning towards... and I like them both, but I think the other is really cute, I've never heard it before!
Congratulations!
You guys pick early! I like Aleena because it's very original, yet very feminine and flowy. But they are both pretty. Ayden and Hudson both end with the same sound, so I guess it depends if you want something different, or want to keep the theme going. Yay!
My opinion is Kailyn all the way! It's so cute. I really like it! I think Aleena is alright, but it kinda sounds like an old lady name to me.
I like Kailyn but then both my daughters names start with a K. So do both of my daughter in laws. Aleena is also a cute name but I really like Kailyn.
I think that you should name her Carolina and then call her North. If not that, how about Emma? Oh wait I know the best name in the world Angelique! However for the sake of the debate I would go with Kailyn, or Kristy Jr.
Here's another vote for Kristy Jr. Between the two though, I prefer Kailyn.
After I posted my last comment, I kept thinking about the two names, and I think I shot down Aleena too quickly without giving it much of a chance. The funny thing about names is that whatever the name is, they become that name, and you can't imagine them ever being called anything else. I still prefer Kailyn though.
Since Mom is making me do this, honestly... I don't care.
A name is just a name,
I'll love her either way.
Have fun being knocked up. Can't wait to see your belly!
Love ya'!
Love your site!! Congratulations are in order. So proud of you both. Spence I have got hooked on a TV show with real life reinactment of ER cases. You sure picked a career you won't be bored with.
As for names I love Kailyn. If you don't use it I will keep it in mind for future grand-daughters. Sure would love to see you when you are in town. Love, Aunt Connie
You should combine both your names and name her Spency or Krister. As far as Kimberly thinking Aleena sounds like an old lady name, it is Adam's Grandmas name. But Old Fashioned names are in right now. I prefer Kailyn myself.
I like Kailyn, but I can see getting mixed up with Ayden! Either one will be great. Hope you are doing well!
My vote is Aleena. But, Kailyn is cute that it matches the boys names. BTW CONGRATSSSS!!!!
